Hello my loves..welcome back to my blog.
I created this simple yet #glam makeup look for you all to try this #Valentine's Day, whether you heading out for a #romantic evening with #bae or just hanging with your #girls, be sure to try this look out and let me know your thoughts?
I've listed all the #products I used down below with step-by-step tutorials.
My step by step guide on how to achieve this look :
Prep : The key to long lasting makeup is always prepping your skin well. For this look I used one of my favourite primer and moisturiser combo's #Glamglow's Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer.
Foundation : #Revlon Colorstay 24hr foundation in Toast and Medium Beige
Contour : #LAGirl Cosmetics in beautiful #bronze for the #contour shade on my cheeks as well as around my forehead and jawline (I'm not such a huge fan of contouring my nose ). The #highlight shade Yellow Corrector was applied in a little triangular shape just under my eyes, as well as the center of my forehead, a little on my chin and just under the contour shade on my cheeks. Remember guys its always easier to apply and buff these products out separately if you're not a pro at #contouring.
Setting Powder : Always, always set your #foundation/#Contour ladies! I couldn't stress about this point more. For this look I used the #Contour powder palette from #Smashbox. For the highlighted areas I always like to bake the product for a while before blending.
Eyes :
Prep + Prime : Just like you #prep your face for a longer lasting application, you should prep your #eyes as well as this guarantees better colour pay-off from your #shadows as well as keeping your #eyeshadow in place all day. For this I used #UrbanDecay's Primer Potion all over the lids of my eyes.
For this look I started with the crease, using shades from the #MorpheBrushes #35WPalette. All colours used are listed with *'s in the order i've used them. The #colours used on my brow bone are the last two listed with ****.
To cut the #crease, I used the #MAC Prep + Prime in Light. Topped with shades from the #Zoeva #CocoBlend Palette in Sweeter End and Bitter Start on the lids.
For the inner corners I used #OfraCosmetics highlter shade in Rodeo Drive and for the lower lash line I used the shade Goldmine from #MAC
Eyebrows : #Eylure's Brow Pomade in the shade no20. I like to finish off my brows with a setting #gel to keep the strays in place. For this I used #BenefitCosmetics called Gimme Brows.
Falsies : #Lashes honestly take you from a 0 to a 10, instantly giving you a super #glam look. I chose #ArdellBeauty lashes in Demi-Wispies for this look. A little tip before applying lashes. Always curl your #lashes first so the #falsies can sit nice and snug with your natural lashes, apply a coat of #mascara (I used my all time favorite mascara from #Smashbox Cosmetics called Full Exposure) and then apply your falsies. Remember to always measure them out and make any adjustments in length before you go ahead and apply them. To make the process easier wait a few seconds after you've applied the glue to the strip before applying them to your eye this will make them stick easier.
Highlight : For an insanely blinding #highlight I used #OfraCosmetics Beverly Hills.
P.S I did an alternative Lipstick for those of you who are into the metallic/glossy look.
So thats it ladies, I hope you have fun trying to replicate this look and have a fabulous Valentine's Day...
Lots of love
Natasha
